Current transformers are used for interfacing a power generator with a measurement circuit.
They allow measurement of very high values of alternating or pulsed currents.
Electrical characteristics
- Accuracy class : class 3 to class 0,1 (According to Standards 60044-1)
- Insulation voltage : up to 20kV DC (higher voltage on request)
- Currents : up to 50kA peak
- Pulse duration : 10µs to 10ms
